The breakfast was sensational with cucumbers and the bakeries close by, as for instance, the staff was extremely friendly. The room was both brand-new and decent sized with 2 bunk beds, a private bathroom, for instance. The location was particularly good and magnificent - 500 metres away from Oranienburgerstrasse Street.

Location
Stairs to loft in the deluxe room were dangerously narrow. Wifi was a little dodgy. Double bed was two twin beds pushed together - but this seems to be pretty common in Germany.

The bunks were not made, sheets folded on bed! Bathroom door could not open all the way as too close to bed.

I stayed here for one night and loved the double room. It was bigger than i expected, and well kept and organized. The hotel is right next to s-bahn oraniensburgstraße and the trams. The staff were helpful, especially since i don't speak german.

The location is excellent--within walking distance of much of what tourist would like to see in Berlin. The subway stop is literally at the front door of the hotel.
Even though I was on the 5th floor, I could hear the subway, and even more, the bar next door.

Very small rooms, hardly room to open your suitcase fully! Very basic facilities. This is more like a comfortable hostel than a hotel.
